Kyle Hagel Earns AHL Man Of The Year Award

Princeton hockey alumnus Kyle Hagel was named the Yanick Dupré Memorial Award Winner as the AHL Man of the Year, the league announced Saturday.

He was one of the three Princeton alumni to earn the team Man of the Year Award, joining Mike Moore and Mike Sdao.

For Hagel, a co-founder of Hockey Players For Kids and Shnarped, this was his fifth time winning his team’s Man of the Year Award. Hagel has implemented the Stick to Reading program in the Charlotte community, delivered toys and has spoken to local schools about the importance of healthy living.
